Bristlenose catfish is easiest fish to breed. Just wait and they will do it in your normal tank, and if you do not have any big fishes - fry will survive and grow up without problems. Yet if you want to breed them professionally, follow these advices:

Prepare spawning tank with a pcv tube inside, closed at one side with opening at the middle of it. It should look like ===_===| yes, I know it looks messy :) It's possible to use any other hideout - the old flower pot or coconut for example. Water should be cleaner than in the main tank. It's good to spawn them during the rain - lower air pressure stimulate bristlenose catfish. After few days there should be eggs in the hideout - put female back to the main tank as soon as it happen. Once fry leave the tube, take male back to the main tank too.

Feeding - only plants. They will love to eat anything we give them, but it will make them grow slower, sometimes even kill - they should be strict vegetarians at first months. Burned carrots, peas or broccoli are just excellent - they are usually not poisoned by chemistry. Basic thing for every bristlenose - they need the dietary fiber, alot of it. Without the fiber they simply cannot absorb food, and therefore die. Any piece of wood without resin will do the trick - just remember to use one piece for one spawn. Coconut is good too. Also remember to clean very carefully the spawning hideout before next spawn.
